Ken Wassermann got his initial exposure to scheduling as a summer intern working in Washington State while attending Washington State University and working in the scheduling division of JA Jones Construction at the Washington Public Power Supply System nuclear power plants at the Hanford, WA sites.

After graduating from WSU - Ken relocated to the NY area and immediately hooked up with Tishman CONSTR in NYC as a scheduler. After 1 yr of scheduling he moved out of the office for 10 yrs in various positions as a project manager and superintendent.

It was at that time that ken decided to combine his extensive hands on construction knowledge and coupled that with his scheduling experience and decided that the combination was one that was currently lacking in the construction field. After a year working at the infancy of the NYC school construction authority (SCA) ken started NK Construction Consultants, Inc late in 1992.

Using his unique self taught scheduling techniques, ken brought his combination of hands on construction experience and scheduling knowledge to the NYC area general contractors and construction managers.

21 years later, NK Construction consultants , Inc remains at the forefront and a formidable force in the NYC construction industry.
